The ACADEMIX cultural society presents the third edition of of 'Up Close
and Personal with maestra Raphaella Smits'.
WHAT ?
From July 22 to 28, 2012, you can enjoy this unique learning experience.
You can spend 7 days in seclusion with this inspiring teacher for both guitar
and chamber music.
You’ll be able to work hard and lift your playing to your highest,
most beautiful level in a relaxed, joyful and intimate climate.
WHO ?
Maestra Raphaella Smits represents over 3 decades of performing and teaching
experience worldwide. Spending a week at her side, participating in her classes,
absorbing her witty life stories, sharing meals, making long walks and promoting
yourself in daily performing sessions ... this all can make a difference
in your musical perspective.
Like last year Raphaella has asked Adrien Brogna to assist her. Adrien
is a very talented young Belgian guitarist as well as a great teacher,
who was trained by Odair Assad at the Conservatory of Mons.
WHERE
?
The Rosario retreat center lies in the heart of Belgium. This former
monastery has been transformed with deep respect for man and environment,
into an oasis. It is the ideal location to slow down, to taste the quietness,
... and keep one’s hand in practice.
Rosario offers a complete infrastructure for a group: comfortable bedrooms,
training rooms, library, quiet room and a beautiful chapel with great accoustics.
The center is respectfully upgraded according to ecological principles.
There is even an outdoor swimming pool naturally purified. Don’t forget
your swim gear!
HOW ?
You can participate for a total fee of 495 euro (when you share a room)
or 645 euro (if you prefer a single room with private bathroom).
This fee includes also:
<> active participation in the master classes or private lessons,
<> lodging at Rosario center,
<> full gourmet board
<> and attractive evening activities.

Maestra Raphaella Smits représente plus de 3 décennies d'expérience
dans l'enseignement ainsi que l’exécution sur la scène,
dans le monde entier. Passer une semaine à ses côtés,
en participant à ses cours, en absorbant ses histoires de vie plaisantes,
en partagent des repas, faire de promenades et en faisant de la promotion
pour vous-même dans des séances d'exécution quotidiennes
... tout cela peut faire une différence dans votre perspectives musicales.
Comme l’année passée Raphaella a demandé à Adrien
Brogna d'assister. Adrien est un jeune guitariste belge très talentueux
ainsi que prof de guitare, qui a été formé par Odair
Assad au Conservatoire de Mons.

Le centre de retraite Rosario se tgrouve au centre de la Belgique. Un
ancien petit monastère, a été transformé en
une oasis, avec un profond respect pour l'homme et l'environnement.
Il est l'endroit idéal pour ralentir, au goût de la tranquillité,
... et de garder la main dans la pratique.
Rosario offre une infrastructure complète pour un groupe: des chambres
confortables, des salles de formation, bibliothèque, salle de repos
et une belle chapelle à l’acoustique superbe. Le centre est
respectueusement mis à jour selon les principes écologiques.
Il ya même une piscine extérieure naturellement purifiée.

Participer est possible pour un prix total de 495 euros (lorsque vous
partagez une chambre) ou de 645 euros (si vous préférez
une chambre individuelle avec salle de bain privée).
