Within the framework of the European ERASMUS-program there is an exchange of professors between the Lemmens Institute in Leuven and the Haute Ecole de Musique in Geneva.


In this specific case Raphaella Smits will go to Geneva to teach the students of Dusan Bogdanovic on December 9 and 10, 2009.
In return Dusan Bogdanovic will teach in Leuven Raphaella's class in March 2010.

The ERASMUS-program started in 1987, as an initiative of the European Commission for the higher education in the EU.

The aim is to promote the exchange between European students and professors.


To this very day, more than 3100 colleges and universities from 31 countries have been registered as participants to the ERASMUS-program. Already 1.9 million students have made use of this great opportunity.
