The Luigi Legnani Festival produces its 13th edition in 2008.
On Saturday April 5 at 9 p.m. Raphaella Smits will perform a concert at the historic Teatro Comunale in Cervia.

Luigi LEGNANI, nicknamed "il Paganini della chitarra" was born in Ferrara on November 7, 1790 and died in Ravenna on August 5, 1877. (More info about the composer.)


Cervia is a seaside resort, at the Adriatic sea, about 200km south of Venice and 50km north of Rimini, in the region Emilia Romagna. The area is well-liked by the townies of Milan , hence the many cottages or 'villeggiatura'.

Salt has always been linked to the history of Cervia. 'Sale di Cervia' is a special seasalt: unprocessed and with a coarse grain, harvested and packed in the traditional way. The salt of Carvia is ideal to do the cooking.
