Preparations in Hove, BE
The Italian composer-guitarist Carlo Domeniconi (Cesena,
1947) settled in Berlin in 1966. He has performed worldwide and is know
for his numerous compositions: principally for guitar, whether solo, duo,
trio, quartet or in conjunction with other instruments or voice. To date,
Carlo Domeniconi has also written 17 guitar concertos.
Lately he is working at a series of recordings with his works. The edition
is a co-production of Ex tempore, Berlin & HOMA dream, Japan. The most
recent CD was just released in Berlin, Germany.
The CD is called: " Carlo
Domeniconi - Selected works III - Music for two guitars".
For this occasion the composer invited Belgian guitarist Raphaella Smits
and German player Nora Buschmann to play two duets with each of them.
